This has been my motto since grade school, and it has served as the North Star for my 14-year career in strategic operations and risk management. Growing up as a Millennial in the wake of the Silicon Valley boom, I developed an early conviction: technology shouldn't just exist for its own sake—it should exist to empower humans to achieve fantastic feats.

 

My professional journey began in the literal field, managing grounds and logistics at Duncaster, before transitioning into the high-stakes world of P&C insurance. Over the last decade, I founded and scaled Premier Shield, managing a $5M+ portfolio and maintaining Platinum status through a relentless focus on communication and risk mitigation. But it was my deep-seated love for technology that truly accelerated my results. By implementing AI-driven workflows—treating AI as the ultimate "digital secretary"—I didn't just grow the bottom line; I saw a positive shift in how my team and clients engaged with the business.

 

Currently finishing my MBA at the University of Iowa with specializations in AI, Strategy, and Financial Decision-Making, I founded Artifiscal Strategies to share this blueprint. I’ve moved beyond the traditional "profit at all costs" mindset to champion a Triple Bottom Line approach that puts People and Planet first—proving that ethics and fiscal dominance are not mutually exclusive.

I built Premier Shield from the ground up with no outside funding, driven by the conviction that efficiency is the ultimate competitive advantage. By leveraging technology to create a "lean personnel" model, I allowed the organization to punch far above its weight class. This focus on innovation earned nominations for industry awards and helped modernize a traditional sector. Here, I mastered the art of using AI as a "digital secretary," proving that technology doesn't replace human talent...it liberates it to focus on vision and high-level strategy.

Insurance Account Executive | Multi-Agency Strategy

During this phase, I focused on the mechanics of growth: personal branding and systematized business development. I didn't just sell; I engineered the process—creating the templates, scripts, and objection-handling frameworks that allowed organizations to scale their opportunities. This era taught me that consistent excellence requires a marriage of robust systems and authentic communication.

My career began with a deep immersion in the "People" pillar of the Triple Bottom Line. Managing the safety and well-being of a 75-acre property taught me the discipline of operational precision and engineering. However, my most impactful work happened in the human margins—serving on the Diversity and Inclusion and Innovation Committees, and training in Alzheimer’s assistance and CPR. This decade solidified my belief that any business solution that doesn't prioritize the safety and dignity of people is destined to fail.
